Cappadocia - Landscape This magical land of northwest Verngaurd is home to the diminutive Fairies, Sprites, and spriggan. What the land lacks in large creatures it makes up for with beauty. Breathtaking flowers grow on the banks of rainbow hued rivers, and spectacular fairy chimneys rise up like mystical castles.

Fairies Two feet tall, they are thin and wiry. They are tan colored with rough brown hair and irregular shaped hazel spots. They are perfectly camouflaged and almost impossible to spot in with their home. They have short but powerful claws on each finger. They cultivate and take care of large mushrooms that sprout from the crevices of the chimneys and immediately around them.

Sankari This twenty-four inch Fairy from Cappadocia is known for her sassy wit and quick temper. Her fragile looking bifid wings beat furiously and increase with her angst. Coarse brown hair perches above her petite features. Her clothes are reddish-brown and taken from the skin of some of the tougher mushrooms they cultivate. She is a member of the League of Truth.

Spriggan These odd creatures are equally at home in the air and water. Their long snout and tongue helps them fish nectar out of the many water and land flowers around the River Imir. They have no arms or legs, just two sets of wings and a long spiked tail that they can use to hold on to vines or plants above or below water. They are born colorless with translucent skin until the rite of Desumo. This happens soon after their birth when they are paired with a Sprite. Once selected, they assume the exact color pattern of their Sprite.

Sprites At six inches tall there are no two alike. Each Sprite has a unique color, or mix of colors. Their insect faces are elongated with a cheerful, yet mischievous appearance. Two antennae sprout next to flattened ear structures on their foreheads. Several sharpened fangs spill out over their lower lips, hiding the tube-like proboscis that they use to drink pollen. Occasionally they will eat small fish and insects. They can use blow darts to kill fish/small prey and defend themselves.
