Arbre Fonce or Dark Forest - Villager/Zombie The Dark Forest is almost devoid of life. Some say it is thanks to the ravenous, soulless men who roam the woods. They are rumored to have two black fangs above their filed teeth. While very difficult to kill, they have little power to regenerate and tend to accumulate sores over the years.

Piscium Map This aquatic based country and society is nestled on the Northeast coast of Verngaurd. They are famous for their sailing, soirees and swallowing ale. Their entire briny culture and survival is based on the ocean. They are the only country in Verngaurd with the capacity to sail the oceans. Only the nomadic mariners/pirates can match their aquatic prowess.
Despite their vicious weaponry the Piscinian army is hampered by their anemic training and unbridled passion, both lead to undisciplined fighting. There are two main divisions of the Piscinian army. Both have pale blue and yellow as their predominant colors. They both wear distinctive chest armor that resembles fish scales and comes from dried simpukka mussel shells-found only along the coast of Piscium. Because the shells weaken over time they are soaked and baked in a thin iron coating which results in a light blue to blue green color.

Piscinians - Retiarian Division Their helmets are silver with two gold lines leaving a small slit for the eyes. On their left arm they wear a large manica, or shoulder and arm guard. The top portion, or pauldron, has large yellow spikes surrounding an anchor. They carry a weighted net used to entangle their opponent or his weapon, and a large six foot trident with three barbed points. They carry a deadly and savage weapon known for its ferocious and devastating force, the anclas. It is two weapons separated by a short handle. On one end three spear like prongs jut out before curving menacingly around into a “C” shape. When used with as a chopping weapon it will claw into flesh, ripping out large chunks.

Piscinians - Suoli (the Disembowelers) They wield a medium sized shield in their left hand. While the tops resemble a typical triangular shape shield the bottom portion splays out like the tail of a whale. All around the bottom portion is a thick, reinforced net to entangle spears and swords. They fight with an iaculum or disemboweling spear. It has the typical leaf like blade of a spear, but down it’s shaft it has several backwards facing barbs, almost as large as the top spear. After easily piecing flesh, the spear’s backwards facing barbs become entangled on bowels or other organs, then rip, cut, and pull them out.
